WE DID IT!

(warning- what you are about to read will be extremly lovey dovey...)

WE DID IT!

we're finally married! (almost 3 months ago..oops) Well as you can tell we have been SO busy! It's been a whirlwind!  Married life is AMAZING!  Jason and I are loving every minute of it! It's so easy and so much fun to be living with your best friend.  Our wedding day couldn't have gone any better.  Of course I was nervous Nancy.. I woke up at 4 am and couldn't go back to sleep. My amazing cousins wife Jenna did my hair and make up so she slept over with me.. and believe you and me, I am SO happy she did. I don't know what I would do without her. When I woke up at 4AM so did she. She came downstairs and found me with puffy eyes and almost in tears because of how excited I was. (side note: every time I would think about Jason I would cry because I was so happy..don't judge me.) Jenna immediately pulled out her kaboodle and started working on me! She had EVERYTHING. I made Jenna drive to the temple with me and my brother. She FLOORED IT. (she's from California..duh) We thought we were going to be late so she sped like a speed demon. Austin was in the back seat holding my dress and bouquet.. poor kid.
Annnyyywho. We got to the temple and immediately I started bawling while I had the biggest smile on my face. (If you didn't know my situation, you would think I was crazy...) Jenna video taped me walking to the temple... trust me, I was a hot mess. one moment i'm normal and then BAM I started bawling! haha! ok.. enough with the bawling..

I met my Aunt inside the temple and instantly started to cry.. of course. She was my escort for the sealing. I then looked around the waiting room searching for my big beefy handsome soon-to-be-husband in 1 hour and nothing... I couldn't find him anywhere!!! Of course, I started freaking out.. 5 mins went by and it felt like 3 hours.. Jason finally showed up 10 minutes late due to traffic and construction. (he was coming from Provo to SLC) I now understand why he was a little late, but at that moment I was a mess. haha!

The sealing was the most spiritual, calming, peaceful, happiest time of my life. I have never felt the way I felt on that day in my entire life. Being with my best friend and knowing that I'll be with him forever, was the most rewarding and happiest feeling. I knew in that moment that we found each other.. Jason found me through the billions of people on this earth.. I knew that I was supposed to be with Jason. I knew a long time ago, but that day confirmed to me that I was made for him..

Since the day I met Jason we both felt like we knew each other.. even on our first date (before I threw up all over..) we were asking each other a million questions of how we would know one another. I knew from the moment I met him that I knew him.. I knew that he was going to be someone big in my life.

After the sealing the only thing I could say to him was "We're MARRIED!!" I didn't care about the reception, the luncheon that was to come.. nothing. I just was in pure bliss knowing that the deed was done! Jason is forever stuck with me! waaaHAAHAA! Ok, anywho... let's just say I was beyond excited that I was FINALLY married to my best friend..

I feel like Jason and I have dated forever..even though we dated for little over a year, I feel like we accomplished so many things together.. Went to California/Disneyland 7-8 times, Went on a cruise to Mexico and Catalina Island, Arizona for Christmas, St. George and Vegas, 5 concerts, Park City numerous of times... The trips are endless.. we grew with each other from all of these experiences we had together. We have grown to know each other so well before we were married.. how grateful I am for all of these experiences we had before we were married. You honestly don't truly know someone until you go on vacation with them! haha! Fortunately, Jason is my best friend and we have had such amazing times on each and every one of them!

After the reception we went to amazing Maui, Hawaii! Jason's Aunt invited us to use her home in Kapalua for our honeymoon! 7 GLORIOUS DAYS IN MAUI!! I was surprised when I found out that we were flying first class there and back! It was luxurious!! We were then greeted in Maui with the warm sunshine and cool breeze! It was the best time i've ever had! Talk about the perfect 2 weeks! Getting married, having a party to celebrate it and then going to Hawaii to stay in the most BEAUTIFUL home i've ever seen in my life. The home was right on the beach! We woke up looking out to the ocean every morning.. one morning we even saw a pod of dolphins! (and yes, I had to look up what word is best to describe lots of dolphins..) We walked down to the beach almost every morning to work out before we had our fun-filled day!

You guys, it was glorious. Absolutely breath taking!  We went shopping, snorkled, hiked, went to the lavender farms, survived the road to hana, beached it, went to a magic show, watched all the sail boats go past us and went out to yummy restaurants! We went and stopped at farmers markets and got fresh fruit, went and had maui tacos (which were devine!!) and just enjoyed being married! Since the time change is a 4 hour difference, Jason and I woke up at 6-7AM almost every morning! So we had the whole day ahead of us!

After this life changing trip that we took, we came home....

TO A BRAND NEW HOUSE!! WOOOO!!!

Seriously, things didn't stop for awhile.. it was one thing after another!! Jason closed on our beautiful brand new town home the day before our wedding!! We got the keys to move in the moment we got home from our honeymoon! We ended up moving all of our things into our Aunt Beckys home and our awesome amazing neighbors Whitney and Trav's basement! They were so great to help us out! We had such a fun time moving in!! Even though we were exhausted from flying all day, we were so happy and grateful that we had a house to move into! It's in Lehi right by the outlets and the new restaurants by thanksgiving point! It has 3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Baths, backyard, a full unfinished basement (which we have SO many ideas for!) and a one car garage! It's a beautiful 2,000 Sqft home and we couldn't be happier!

I just want to brag for a minute.. Jason is the most hard working husband..  Growing up with an absent dad most of my life, I never knew what it was like to truly see a man work so hard for his little family. Jason has been by my side through so much.. he has been such a trooper for putting up with my make up, hair all over the ground, clothes GALOR.. and so much more. He makes me dinner, insists on me taking a bath while he cleans up after dinner, rubs my feet, buys me flowers, makes a call to me every day at work asking how my day is going... I honestly don't know how I got so dang lucky! He is my absolute everything. I love serving him and making him lunches, dinners, cleaning the house so when he gets home he can relax, putting on his favorite show and making sure he is just so happy! He is my happy. When we serve each other we are the happiest.. I love attending the temple with him once a week, reading our scriptures and our nightly prayers together, going on our date nights and just snuggling up to him every single night!  ugh... i'm so in love. <3
