Exciting weekend!

Here's to another CrAZy, fun weekend! I first took Austino (little brosky) on our date that I promised him for christmas! We went to the Provo Beach Resort in Provo and did some Flow Rider for an hour!  I would HIGHLY reccomend this place for a date night or to bring your kids to! It was really fun! After flow rider, we went to Austinos favorite restaurant.... Panda express! haha! we literally ate in the lobby as they were closing up! it was really fun to just talk to Austino about life and all it's mysterys.. :)

Yes.. this is me falling...

Friday night, My Uncles, Mom, Austin and I all went to dinner at Los Cocous in sandy! it was delicioso! The Uncles were up at our family condo for the week skiing and visiting Park City for the Sundance Film Festival! It was a lot of fun up in park city to go people watching and have dinner with Jason last weekend up there! The streets were just crowded with so many people!

Saturday was a busy day for Jason and I! We went to the Bridal Expo in Sandy! I'm such a lucky girl that Jason wants to go to these with me.. I mean, what kind of guy REAAAALLLY wants to go to these? haha! he's a keeper! ;)

We then went and looked at some Townhomes in Draper.... THIS WAS THE BEST IDEA EVER! We finally found our DREAM HOME! Well, atleast for now! It's absolutely beautiful! Jason and I were just so happy and excited that we found what we were looking for! It's in Draper right by Ikea! It has 3 Bedrooms 2 1/2 baths! and it's pretty dang big for just the 2 of us! We got so excited talking about decorations and what style we want..etc! Nothing is final yet, but this is definitely something we are hoping to get! :)

After we got done looking at our DREAM HOME, we went on a double date with Katie and her new man McKinnley to the Ice Castles up in Midway! It was BEAUTIFUL! annnnnd, extremely cold... like, really really cold. There was also this Sandy/Slush that you had to walk in so you didn't slip on the ice.. if you look at Jasons shoes in the picture below, they're hidden! His feet were so cold by the time we got to the car! I had the worst kind of shoes on.. HEELS! Lets just say I was a hot mess...

Katie, McKinnley, Jason and I went up to the Zermatt hotel and had dinner at Maddies Cafe! It was really good! We were laughing the whole time and just being goofy, like always. There's not a day that goes by that Jason doesn't make me laugh until my stomach hurts! He's such an amazing man and i'm so excited to marry him!!

Sunday we went to Jasons ward in Provo ( we switch off wards every Sunday) After church we went to Aunt Becky's house for dinner! We had Cafe Rio Costa vida for dinner! haha! Becky did such a great job at cooking! It was so fun to see everyone! We played a game after dinner called "Heads up!" Ellen DeGeneres made it! it's an App on your phone and everyone has to guess what you are! it was really fun! Jason captured the dorky moment of me playing it!

Until next time!

Conference and Cruiseeee time!

I had the opportunity to go with Jason and his company on their annual conference and cruise this year! It was so much fun to see Jason in his element while he went to all of his meetings and presented the Award show!
I missed my flight going out to long beach on thursday so one of my collegues at Mercer let me have one of her buddy passes to fly out the next day! Thinking I could just jump on my flight back since I bought a round trip I didn't get a flight back with her buddy pass... Ohhhh no. I was dead wrong. Delta cancels your WHOLE trip if you miss your flight.  Good thing Jason drove out there with his company so I could drive back... Man, I was worried I was going to be stranded!

This is me... waiting to get on the plane on stand-by... waiting... OH and then... I got first class!
This was our hotel... 75 degree weather... aww yah.

Jason and I found a sketchy mexican food restaurant that we ate at.. Little did we know we were going to eat there every...single...night... haha!  It was so good!

We went down to the Long Beach Pier and walked around and had dinner at the Yardhouse. It was so good! side note... I took a picture of Jason in front of the "Shenanigans" sign because if you know Jason well, he ALWAYS says "Shenanigans!" haha!

Saturday was the Wives day... We went and toured Hollywood and Rodeo Dr!

We learned that Iron Mans house is not actually in Malibu... It's in HOLLYWOOD! And Alex trebek owns it! He's the game show host from Jeopardy!

This was "The witches house" in Hollywood!

We went to the farmers market in LA which was really fun and tasty! We went to the first cupcake store in LA! It's called Sprinkles and it was TO DIE FOR.. nom nom nom..

The flavors above are: Chocolate peanut butter, S'mores, Cinnamon sugar banana bread and Red velvet! mmm!!!

Saturday night was the Awards show!!! Look how handsome he is!!
Man.. we are going to make some good lookin' babes :)

This was the set-up for the Awards Show.  Jason did such a good job presenting all of the awards! It comes so natural for him to speak in front of almost a hundred people in the room! I was one proud soon-to-be wife!! :)

NOW THE CRUISE!!!!

Funny story about this... Jason and I decided on the last sea day coming home to go down the slide... it felt like 50 degrees outside!! people were bundled up, but Jason and I felt as if we needed to prove a point.. hahha!

The top two pictures above is the hike we took to Wrigley's Memorial in Catalina Island! It was pretty neat to see all the work that was put into this memorial..

It was so nice to get away from the cold and have a little vacation before we get married! I loved spending time with Jason! We grew so much more on this trip and understood each other a lot better. I love this man of mine and cannot wait til I'm his wife.

Tis the season...

Whooooa.  Where has the time gone!? Jason and I drove down for Christmas to his home town Asgard  I mean, Peoria, Arizona. (Jason thinks that Arizona is like Asgard in Thor...yeah, I know...) It was the LONGEST road trip EVER. I told Jason that I don't think I could make that trip again without flying there.  I think it took us about 12 hours to get there with all the stops and detours. Jason drove the whole way there! I was so proud of him! ha ha!

We finally got to Arizona in the nice 75 degree weather for Christmas.  Christmas was a BLAST! I've never been away from home for Christmas so it was definitely an experience! The Leber family was so thoughtful, caring and loving the whole trip.  I couldn't have asked for a more better family to be marrying into! Christmas morning we woke up and opened our stockings (yes, I had one!) and then we opened up all of our presents from the family and Santa! After which we had breakfast and just hung out with the family the whole day!  It was so relaxing and fun to play games with everyone!
Jason and I got "money trees" from his parents! So fun!

Jason and I taking a nap after all the hussle and bussle from opening presents!

We all went shooting! It was fun to shoot my gun that my brother got me for christmas! It's a Keltec 9MM Short barrel! SO FREAKING POWERFUL. I may have peed my pants a little after shooting it... yeah.

Jared picked up his girlfriend Ellie from the airport later that night and we all played games! The Leber family LOVES to play games! It's so much fun to get creative and all worked up!
The next couple of days Jason and I went shopping, ate lunch, shopped, ate more food, slept...ate...slept.. ha ha! We did however went to breakfast and dinner as a family while we were there! We went to downtown Peoria and had dinner at a German restaurant! It was CRAZY. I mean, my family is German (hence the last name Nitzen..ehh?) so you would think that I would feel right at home with this! ha ha! The food was really good and interesting! I love trying new food!

This is Jared and Ellie!

Jason and I at dinner with the family!

Jason and I got matching fuel bands!

This is Tyler with his cute friend Stephanie! She is such a doll!

We went to Jasons first job when he was 16! Peter piper pizza! It was so much fun and yummy!!

Jason and I went and visited my Grandma Nannie and Grandpa Gene in Sun Valley! It was so much fun to see them and share stories and listen to her play the Piano and hear my grandpa sing!

All in all I am so grateful for Gifts and fun memories that the Leber family gave to me! They made me feel so welcomed in their home! Love spending quality time with my handsome man also!! He sure knows how to spoil me! :)
